AVIA INVEST LLC, has initiated bilateral cooperation with Manas International Airport from Kyrgyzstan. During the visit undertaken by the Vice President of Economic and Investments Development of Manas Airport, Mr Tokobaev Dair, to Chisinau International Airport, was decided to sign thememorandum, which provides cooperation, exchange of experience and common search for a new airline which will create a bridge to Europe, via Chisinau.
Manas Airport is one of the largest and the most modern aviation points of Central Asia, in the field of air traffic service, located 23 km north – west of the capital Bishkek, the Republic of Kyrgyzstan. It has an advantageous geographical position, being located at the crossroads of Asia and Europe.
On 31st October 2013, the Manas Airport representatives, together with their partners signed the „Memorandum which provides granting of discounts to the operating airlines.” The purpose of this agreement is to develop the aviation infrastructure, and encourage airlines to launch the flights to new destinations and to carry transit passangers via Manas International Airport. In this way, Manas Intl Airport, agreed to provide a discount of 30-40% for the services provided.
It should be noted that, AVIA INVEST LLC, continues to promote The Airline Attraction Policy. This policy aims to increase passenger traffic and support airlines in launching new routes.
Thereby, if for the aircraft Airbus A320, with 75% load factor, the airline had to pay 28.51 euro per passenger for the round trip, the Airline Attraction Policy implies a discount up to 11.48 euro. As a result of this policy, the operation of low-cost flights by Wizzair and flydubai and the launch of new directions by Carpatair and Meridiana Fly were possible.
The collaboration of two Airports aims to attract the airline and to launch the new route from Chisinau to Beshkek and vice versa. Double favorable conditions will be created for the airline, that will allow to offer the reasonable prices for airline tickets. The operation of this flight will allow the citizens of Kyrgyzstan to fly to Europe via Chisinau International Airport on the better conditions. At the same time the Moldovan citizens will get the good transit point as Manas International Airport for their flights to Asia.
Manas Intl Airport has an advantageous geographic position located at the crossroads of Asia and Europe. Currently, 16 airlines are flying to / from Manas Airport, including 4 international carriers and 12 foreign airlines. Following the results of the first 9 months of 2013, the Manas Intl Airport reached the figure of 1,752,355 total passenger traffic, which is 26.3% more compared to the same period of the last year.
Chisinau Intl Airport is the main gateway of the Republic of Moldova and for the sixth year consecutively is designated as “Airport with the most dynamic development among the CIS countries. There 19 airlines that are offering 29 different destinations for the passengers all over the world. 4 national and 15 foreign airlines are operating in Chisinau Intl Airport. Following the results of the 9 months of 2013 total passenger traffic reached the figure of 1.005.473 which is 5.22 % more compared to the same period of the last year.
