Aero has opened a new hall for production of landing gears
AERO Vodochody AEROSPACE a.s. has opened a new production hall for landing gears subassemblies for large transport aircraft of A320 family for its French customer Messier-Bugatti-Dowty and complete nose and main landing gears for L-410 aircraft of the Czech manufacturer Aircraft Industries a.s.
The new production plant has more than 530 sq. meters and will significantly accelerate a production of landing gears. In 2014, Aero expects 75% increase of a production over the previous year and the premises are prepared for possible increase up to triple of 2013 production.
„Thanks to these new premises, we can optimize processes and increase the efficiency of the production of landing gears in our company, said Martin Hönig, manager of the program. Aero will be able to produce up to 10 landing gears and its subassemblies a week.
Landing gears production in AERO Vodochody AEROSPACE has a rich history and many great successes. The premises are also ready for production of landing gears for military aircraft. Thanks to this investment, Aero has created several new jobs and contributed to employment in the region.
