FlightSafety Now Offers FAA-Approved GulfstreamG550 eRecurrent Pilot Training Course

flight safety 2FlightSafety International announced that it now offers online training for the ground school portion of its Gulfstream G550 recurrent pilot training course.

“FlightSafety’s FAA-approved Gulfstream G550 online recurrent training course is another example of our ability to provide Customers with the convenience and flexibility of distance learning while maintaining the highest quality standards they expect and deserve,” said Steve Gross, Vice President, Sales.

FlightSafety’s Gulfstream G550 eRecurrent training course is offered to pilots who operate their aircraft under FAA or EASA regulations. It replaces two days of the recurrent training course normally taken at a Learning Center and includes a 13-hour ground school eLearning module and instructor-lead LiveLearning CRM training. The simulator sessions, systems integration training, and written exam portions of the course take place at a Learning Center. In order to receive a 61.58 endorsement all items must be completed within a 60-day period.

The Gulfstream G550 eRecurrent course was developed based on FlightSafety’s significant experience with online learning and the expertise gained through the design and deployment of close to 80 courses,” said Marin Todorov, Manager Specialty and Enrichment Training. “We are pleased that a rapidly increasing number of pilots, maintenance technicians, and flight attendants are taking advantage of the dynamic and engaging online courses FlightSafety offers.”

FlightSafety has been the official factory authorized training organization for Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation for more than four decades. Training is provided at Learning Centers in Dallas, Texas; Columbus, Ohio; Hong Kong; Long Beach, California; Savannah, Georgia; Wilmington, Delaware; and at the London Farnborough Airport in the United Kingdom.
