ABS Jets Shows Record Performances in 2014

810 ABS Jets team 2014_sABS Jets’ has marked its 10th Anniversary year 2014 with striking results that underline the company’s proven leadership and the reputation it has earned as a major player in the business aviation field.

On strong demand for the entire portfolio of ABS Jet’s services, all units combined boosted the company’s revenue by 3.7%. The earnings before taxes went up 61.7%. A record growth
profit of 148% was realized by the maintenance department. The unit increased the number of projects for complete technical service by 19% and the marker of an annual 50,000 manhours of work was passed and resulted in 6.6% growth.

“ABS Jets’ strategies have enabled us to deliver outstanding results in 2014 which are consistent with our already proven track record,” comments Michal Dvorak, ABS Jets’ Chief Financial
Officer. “We have been able to improve our profitability, by reducing our costs and improve our efficiency. In that regard our increased investment in employee training has paid off well.”

The Technical Department made headlines when it announced its collaboration with the Czech Technical University in Prague to implement a training program on the principles of lean maintenance. It swiftly proved its merits in terms of reducing the aircraft ground times.

We will continue to invest in initiatives aimed at delivering an excellent customer experience, which will drive expanded business activity,” says Vladimir Petak, CEO and Member of the Board of Directors of ABS Jets. “The year 2014 left us not only with fantastic results but also great excitement about the future.”

As outstanding as the company’s financial results were, a considerable list of accomplishments shows the dynamics of ABS Jets as a multi-facetted operation. Flight crews have safely operated 2100 flights and increased the number of flight hours by 27%. Another Embraer Legacy 650 was added to the fleet of now twelve business jets. The number of executive handling rotations at Prague Airport grew 16%. Due to the increased demand, the company expanded its Operation Control Center (OCC) services. A significant increase in number of flight planning assignments for customers coming from North America, South America and China was recorded. ABS Jets became a Honeywell Authorized Service Center and Russian certification to perform maintenance on RA registered aircraft.
