PZL Mielec and Sikorsky Presented at MSPO Kielce

810 pzl mielecThe first week of September was marked by MSPO Kielce trade show, where Polskie Zakłady Lotnicze presented together with Sikorsky Aircraft. The MSPO (International Defence Industry Exhibition) is the third largest exhibitiob in Europe and the largest in central and eastern part of the old continent.

 

This year’s 23th edition of the event was attended by over 550 exhibitors from 30 countries, presenting an offer for the army and special forces. The event attracted to Kielce 38 official foreign delegations and several thousand visitors from all over the world. This is the record result in the history of the Kielce exhibition, which emerged the world’s biggest corporations interested in ongoing or announced armament programs.

 

Among the exhibitors there were also a common stand of Polskie Zakłady Lotnicze and Sikorsky Aircraft. The fair was an opportunity for numerous business meetings with delegations and potential customers from Lithuania, Australia, South Korea, Malaysia, Romania, Belarus, Bangladesh or Ukraine. Our stand was visited by new Consul General of the USA in Krakow Walter Braunohler, Deputy Chief of Mission in U.S. Embassy in Poland ​​John Law, Australian Ambassador to Poland Jean Dunn and William Sowry, Head of Australian Defence Staff in London.

 

High interest of visitors attracted models of M28 aircraft and S -70i Black Hawk helicopter, made at a scale of 1:10. The organizers awarded our stand for an attractive arrangement and promotion technique. Commemorative medals MSPO from the hands of the President of Kielce Trade Fairs Andrzej Mochoń received President Janusz Zakrecki.

 

Another Mielec accent was the UH-60M Black Hawk presented by the US Army on static display, with manufactured in our factory cab.

This year’s exhibition accompanied by more than 40 conferences and seminars. There was also national exhibition organized by Norway, and the official guest of the first day of MSPO was the defense minister of this country. On the last day the fair was visited by the President of Poland, Andrzej Duda. There was also a static display of polish Armed Forces organized this year under the slogan “Modern armament”.
