On Oct. 23 2013, Beechcraft Corporation announced at the 2013 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition the appointment of Kalamazoo Aircraft, Inc. in Kalamazoo, Mich., as an authorized service center (ASC) for the company’s Baron and Bonanza products.

“Kalamazoo Aircraft has hosted many American Bonanza Society Service Clinics over the years and has served the Western Michigan aviation community since it was founded in 1995 ,” said Christi Tannahill, Beechcraft senior vice president, Global Customer Support (GCS). “It’s now a third-generation family-owned and operated business, which brings 85 years of combined experience and a high level of customer service to Beechcraft owners and operators in the region.”

Kalamazoo Aircraft, Inc. is a full-service MRO and FAA certified repair station specializing in piston-powered single engine and light twin engine aircraft. The company is located at Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport.

Headquartered in Wichita, Kan., GCS is dedicated to improving the value of both Hawker and Beechcraft aircraft by employing products and services to simplify aircraft ownership, reduce operating cost and increase resale value. GCS is comprised of five functional groups that include Support Plus (cost predictability/warranty programs), Hawker Beechcraft Parts & Distribution (genuine factory parts), Hawker Beechcraft Services (factory-owned service centers), Technical Support (Field Support Representatives, Hot Line specialists and Technical Publications) and Global Mission Support (government business and special mission maintenance / training support).
