ABS Jets, one of central Europe’s leading business aviation companies has appointed Michal Dvorak to the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Michal joins ABS Jets from KPMG Czech Republic where he was the Supervisor of the Commercial Audit department. During his time there he carried out audits on a number of aviation companies, gaining valuable experience and understanding of what makes a successful aircraft operator. In his new role at ABS Jets Michal will take on responsibilities for many of ABS Jets financial activities, including audits and financial statements.
Earlier in his career Michal worked at GE Financial Services, his role included working in debt collection. Prior to that Michal graduated from the University of Economics in Prague with a Masters Degree in Business Administration.
Although Michal´s background appears to be financial he has always taken a keen interest in aviation and has studied aspects of transportation with a focus on aviation.
Speaking about his appointment as CFO of ABS Jets Michal Dvorak said “This is a great opportunity for me, the chance to work in a company that permits me to work in two fields which are of great interest to me; finance and aviation. I look forward to the opportunity of gaining new experiences in the aviation sector. I am delighted to be joining ABS Jets, such a successful and well respected Czech company.”
