ABS Jets financial results surge ahead
ABS Jets has posted another set of strong financial results, these follow on from the record breaking results ABS Jets recorded in the financial year 2011. The latest set of accounts show that ABS Jets was able to increase their operating profit by a further 8%. The figures show that the company increased operating profit to 47,2MCZK.
ABS Jets also posted an impressive 20.5% growth in turnover exceeding 1 BCZK. This was underpinned by increased revenues from flight planning and flight support. These increased by 35% compared to year 2011. The number of planned and supported flights also increased by 14%, in 2012 ABS Jets carried out flight planning for 800 more flight hours compared to 2011. In recent years ABS Jets has invested and developed operations in other locations than it’s Prague base. The ABS Jets facility in Bratislava is becoming an important factor in the development of the company. In 2012 revenues from ABS Jets handling in Bratislava increased by 19.8%.
Similarly ABS Jets brokerage activities also saw growth in 2012 with a doubling of revenue in this area of operation. Naturally all this growth meant that ABS Jets increased the number of employees and brings the total number of employed people over 200.
“For ABS Jets Technical Services year 2012 can be seen as a transition period. The Implementation of “state of the art” maintenance software has required the reassessment and the upgrade of all internal processes and procedures. At the same time a program of intensive marketing activities has produced excellent results in the last quarter of the year with the arrival of a series of new customers for ABS Jets MRO services, ” said Thierry Barré, ABS Jets Technical Director.
