BACA Places a Strong Emphasis on Training for 2016

BACA Tony CoeThe Baltic Air Charter Association (BACA) has announced that it will place a great deal of emphasis on training during the current year. The online training courses were launched in September 2015 in co-operation with the TSA Group. Competence, quality assurance and accredited status are the key foundations of the online courses, the purpose is to deliver the essential training that the industry requires. The new initiative means that qualifications, gained from the training, will enable certified brokers to demonstrate (to auditors) that their staff are trained to approved industry standards.

With more than 25 online training courses (and many being planned for release in 2016) individuals or groups can develop their capacity, capability and standards in order to meet the needs of their sector.  BACA also recommends that brokers consider refresher training. Although not mandatory, this will help brokers maintain their skills and keep up to date with any changes in procedures.

BACA Chairman Tony Coe advises “It is apparent that there is a great need for training within our industry so the online training courses we have designed with the TSA Group are an excellent way of meeting this need. We believe that in order to deliver better and improving standards proper training is the cornerstone for any broker that wishes to grow and educate their employees. The BACA training courses have been designed with this in mind and I hope that this year will see large numbers of trainees developing and implementing their skills. The training supports BACA’s vision to create a new generation of bro
kers with the necessary skills to develop and expand our sector to deliver a first-class, cost effective, 21st Century service.”
