Reinforcing its commitment to supporting the growth of the Indian market, and following its opening of a new office in New Delhi last month, Beechcraft Corporation today announced two new in-country appointments.
The company is aiming to build on this growth and its leadership of the India business aviation market with the following appointments:
“In addition to a large installed base of aircraft already in the country, business aviation in India has seen significant growth over the past decade, a period during which Beechcraft has delivered nearly 50 aircraft to Indian customers,” said Richard Emery, Beechcraft president for EMEA and APAC. “We expect the demand for business aviation to increase rapidly as the economy grows. We will be able to provide even greater local support to both existing and new Beechcraft customers now with our new office and these key leadership appointments.”
Beechcraft also recently announced the appointment of Arrow Aircraft Sales and Charters Private Limited (ARROW) as the company’s exclusive sales representative for India. Founded in 2009, ARROW has developed into a significant provider of business aviation services, including sales, charter and operation management, supporting customers from its headquarters in New Dehli, as well as offices in Mumbai, Kolkata and Sharjah in the UAE.
Beechcraft this year celebrates the 50th anniversary of the King Air series as one of the best-selling business aircraft family in the world. Since 1964, Beechcraft has delivered nearly 7,200 King Airs with the worldwide fleet recently surpassing 60 million flight hours. In 2013, worldwide King Air-series deliveries increased by 52 percent from the previous year.
