Czech Sport Aircraft Delivers PS-28 Cruiser To France

czech sport aircraft ps-28 normal-COM_035_2014Czech Sport Aircraft announced the delivery of yet another EASA-certified PS-28 Cruiser.  The delivery took place this morning at the company’s production facility in Kunovice and will see F-HSAP enter into service in France where the aircraft will be rented for flight training.

Matthew Harvey, Managing Director of Aviation Trading, the official authorised trading partner of Czech Sport Aircraft, said, “We are very pleased to be delivering F-HSAP this morning.  France is an extremely important market for us and we are satisfied to see the PS-28 Cruiser developing a commanding position in the flight training segment in the country.  Aviation Trading is now deep in discussions with Sport Aviation as we plan for 2015 and beyond; looking to build on the successful partnership we have developed over the last two and a half years.  With the support of Sport Aviation and the excellent local service infrastructure and technical expertise that they offer on the market, we are confident that F-HSAP and the expanding fleet in France are in very good hands.”

Commenting on the delivery of F-HSAP, Christian Stuck, Co-Owner of Sport Aviation, said, “The PS-28 Cruiser’s recognition and popularity in France continues to grow.  Like several other aircraft already successfully operating in the country, F-HSAP will also enter into service in a flight training role for PPL.  Sport Aviation is very pleased to hear that Czech Sport Aircraft has once again raised the bar in terms of the standard equipment included in the production year 2015 models and we are all eagerly awaiting the delivery of the first SkyView-equipped aircraft.”

F-HSAP is a former factory demonstrator aircraft of pre-2014 production.  The aircraft has been delivered in customised Moravia Blue Style Design paint scheme, combined with customised Arctic Grey Exclusive Leather upholstery with Aqua Blue and Phantom Black accents.  The aircraft is configured with Glass cockpit and additionally equipped with Ballistic Recovery System, Stall Warning and Sensenich fixed 3-blade propeller.  F-HSAP is delivered once again as a result of the successful cooperation with Sport Aviation, the company’s national distributor for France.

Emmanuel Laurent, Co-Owner of Sport Aviation, added, “Indeed we are very encouraged to see that, among other things, both the SkyView avionics suite and the Stall Warning will be installed as standard on the production year 2015 models.  This will go a long way to further increasing the popularity and appeal of the PS-28 Cruiser on the market, especially in the important flight training segment.  We are very pleased to be taking delivery of F-HSAP this morning and Sport Aviation is ready to provide the highest level of local aftersales service.”

The PS-28 Cruiser is a double-seat aircraft of full metal construction.  The aircraft is arranged as a low-wing mono-plane with cantilevered wings and conventional empennage.  The PS-28 Cruiser is type certified for VFR Day operations according to EASA CS-LSA regulations and can be fully commercially operated in EASA countries or in countries where the PS-28 Cruiser obtained local CAA Type Certification.

Currently a total of over 500 PS-28 Cruiser and SportCruiser have been produced.  Over 200 aircraft are operating in the USA and almost 200 aircraft are operating in Europe where the company is enjoying significant sales success.  The excellent flight characteristics of the aircraft and robust construction of the airframe are perfectly suited to entry-level students and this makes the SportCruiser the ideal platform for training purposes.  The facts on the market today clearly confirm the leadership of the SportCruiser within this important segment of the Light Sport Aircraft market, with the aircraft being operated in over 20 flight schools in the USA alone.
