Czech Sport Aircraft Shipped Two More SportCruiser

czech sport aircraft logoCzech Sport Aircraft confirmed the shipping of two more SportCruiser to the USA.  This new shipment follows on from the first units of 2014 that departed for the USA in April and the record order for 8 SportCruiser that was signed last month.

Commenting on this milestone, Matthew Harvey, Managing Director of Aviation Trading, the official authorised trading partner of Czech Sport Aircraft said, “Czech Sport Aircraft has a very busy production line in Kunovice and a healthy backlog of new orders for both SportCruiser and PS-28 Cruiser.  This is clear confirmation of our success on the market and the good reputation of the aircraft and its capabilities.  We are pleased to be sending more SportCruiser to the USA where our importer US Sport Aircraft continues to strive hard to maintain our leading position in this important North American territory.  Our focus is now on getting the 8 SportCruiser recently ordered swiftly through production and out the door.”

This new shipment includes two SportCruiser SVAP+.  One aircraft is additionally equipped with ADS-B Receiver, Garmin GPS 796 and Garmin GNC 255a NAV/COM and configured in a customised version of the ever popular Moravia Blue Style Design paint scheme with matching Exclusive Leather upholstery in Arctic Grey with Aqua Blue inserts.  The second aircraft is additionally equipped with ADS-B Receiver and LiPo battery and configured in Frankovka Burgundy Classic Design paint scheme with matching Exclusive Leather upholstery in Arctic Grey with Shiraz Burgundy inserts.

Speaking from the SportCruiser Flight & Distribution Centre in Addision (TX), Patrick Arnzen, President of US Sport Aircraft, said, “It is great news to hear that more SportCruiser are on the way from the factory.  We continue with the expansion of our flight training activities and the development of our sales network here in the USA through the appointment of quality dealers who understand the importance of first class aftersales service and customer support.  These are our basic principles and our track record and continued success on the market is certainly testimony to that.  We are also very encouraged to see the success that Czech Sport Aircraft is having on other continents and we remain committed to ensuring we all achieve our objectives for 2014.”

The SportCruiser SVAP+ offers dual-screen 10” Dynon SkyView instrumentation together with additional enhanced features.  The new SportCruiser SVAP Light is based on the increased demand from the U.S. market for an entry-level Light Sport Aircraft that combines affordability and advanced features with the flexibility to upgrade.  This version is also the result of an extensive weight reduction exercise carried out by Czech Sport Aircraft engineers, resulting in an increased useful load.  In addition, Czech Sport Aircraft continues to supply the SportCruiser Classic with analogue instrumentation.

With the aim of ensuring quality, general safety and airworthiness of Light Sport Aircraft, the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has introduced more frequent audits of Light Sport Aircraft manufacturers.  Having already conducted several audits of U.S. Light Sport Aircraft manufacturers, the FAA audit of Czech Sport Aircraft took place in 2013 and was the second such audit to take place outside the USA.  The audit focused on all aspects of compliance with FAA accepted Light Sport Aircraft ASTM consensus standards and no safety related issues were found by the FAA inspectors during the Czech Sport Aircraft audit.
