Dassault Aviation Appoints India’s Ligare Aviation Engineering in Delhi as a Falcon Authorized Service Center

Dassault Aviation recently appointed Ligare Aviation Engineering of India as a Falcon Authorized Service Center for AOG Service Level Maintenance.

The approval applies to Dassault’s top-of-the-line Falcon 7X and covers technical assistance and unscheduled light maintenance for Indian registered or transient aircraft, including troubleshooting and AOG (Aircraft On Ground) support.

Ligare Aviation Engineering already supplies routine support services for Indian and transient Falcon 7Xs at its Delhi base under its Indian DGAC CAR-145 license. The company operates India’s largest Falcon fleet, including a Falcon 7X.

Ligare is also seeking European Part 145 approval, which would allow it to service EASA Falcon aircraft.
“The addition of Ligare is part of Dassault’s strategy of boosting its footprint in the Indian Subcontinent and reinforcing its product support network there,” said Jacques Chauvet, Dassault Falcon’s Senior Vice President, Worldwide Customer Service. “It’s part of our global commitment to locate support services in close proximity to Falcon customer operations.”

Dassault previously signed Authorized Service Center agreements with Taj Air, for Falcon 2000DX/EX/S/LXS aircraft, and Air Works India, for the Falcon 900EX/LX line. Both of these operations are located in Mumbai.

In addition to the ASC facilities, Dassault operates spares warehouses in Mumbai backed up by offshore facilities in Dubai, Singapore and Paris. Pilot training is available at CAE in Dubai and technical training may soon be offered there as well.
