ExecuJet Africa receives BARS and NATA safety accreditations
ExecuJet Africa has been awarded the Flight Safety Foundation Basic Aviation Risk Standard (BARS) accreditation and the National Air Transportation Association (NATA) Safety 1st Ground rating.

Our clients demand the highest service and safety standards in aviation operations and we are pleased to work with the relevant authorities to ensure these standards continue to be met.”
ExecuJet Aviation (Pty) Ltd met the requirements for a BARS accreditation after completing an audit carried out by HART Aviation Services Pty Ltd. BARS is the single aviation safety standard for the resource sector and has been developed by the Flight Safety Foundation in conjunction with resource companies.
NATA’s Safety 1st Ground Audit programme was created to provide a consistent operational safety standard for fixed-base operators, airports, and other facilities providing ground handling services for business and general aviation aircraft.
Poggi continues: “We are proud to be the first FBO in Africa to have been awarded this rating by NATA. Our Lanseria FBO has achieved this rating because of our world class standard in terms of security, safety, procedures and environmental protection for passenger and aircraft handling.”
ExecuJet Africa also holds safety standard accreditations from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC), the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) and Wyvern.
