Dassault Aviation recently approved ExecuJet Aviation Nigeria, part of ExecuJet Aviation Group, as a Dassault Falcon Authorized Service Center (ASC) for line maintenance. The Lagos-based company will provide scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance and inspections for the Dassault Falcon 7X, Falcon 900 and Falcon 2000 family.
ExecuJet Aviation Nigeria has invested heavily in tooling and training to support the new Falcon line service activity. In addition to offering line maintenance services, it will accommodate a Falcon GoTeam capable of helping resolve customer AOG issues anywhere in West Africa 24/7. A Falcon Spare parts consignment stock worth some $US 1 million will also be located at the Nigerian facility.
Based at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, ExecuJet Aviation Nigeria is the largest business aviation company in Nigeria and has already been supporting Dassault Falcon business jets for many years. The facility is equipped with a 4,700 square meter (15,500 square foot) state-of-the-art hangar, avionics and battery shop and offers a broad range of maintenance services including nondestructive testing (NDT).
The Nigerian operation is Dassault Falcon’s third ASC in Africa and the second operated by Execujet. ExecuJet Lanseria and Bakhari Aviation Services, located at Johannesburg’s Lanseria International Airport, have been Falcon Authorized Service Centers since 2008. In early May, Dassault also appointed a new Field Technical Representative based in Lagos.
Sub-Saharan Africa, with its booming mining, oil and gas and agriculture sectors, is a high-growth area for business aviation, and Nigeria, South Africa and neighboring Angola are Dassault’s fastest growing African markets.
