External Audit of FlightSafety International Inc. Training Centre in Paris
Meridian Air Company expert group conducted the audit of the FlightSafety International Training Center, Paris in the framework of undertakings aimed at recognition and approval of the Center by Civil Aviation Authorities of Russian Federation. The audit set the goal to determine that the work of the Center is organized and managed in compliance with both International and Russian regulations and the training provided meets the internal requirements of Meridian Air Company.
The itemscovered by the audit included initial and recurrent training for cabin crews on Hawker 750 and Gulfstream 450 aircraft, flight crew and cabin crew General Emergency Training, MedAir In-Flight Medical Management Training.
Special emphases were laid on the courses dealing with Crew Resource Management, flight and cabin crew coordination in routine and emergency situations.
The resources and equipment of the center, qualification of the instructors, documentation and internal quality management system were also the points on the audit agenda. Following the results of the audit The Safety Board of Meridian Air Company has concluded that the audit findings can be rated as minor and mostly related to provision of tailor-made services for the Company and unanimously voted to continue its close cooperation with the Center for training of flight and cabin crews.
