Jet Aviation’s annual La Bella Macchina will kick-off the 25th anniversary of The Cavallino Classic, one of the world’s foremost and respected Ferrari exhibitions, on Thursday, January 21, 2016.
As the ultimate evening in speed and technology, the 16th annual La Bella Macchina soirée set at Jet Aviation’s world-class fixed-base operation (FBO) at Palm Beach International Airport will feature an extensive display of aircraft and automobiles ranging from the remarkable to extremely rare.
Some of the most recognizable names in aviation from around the globe will showcase an array of business-aircraft models on the tarmac, including the Gulfstream G280 and G450, Dassault Falcon 2000S, Embraer Legacy 500 and Lineage, Pilatus PC-12NG, Airbus H125 and a Bell 430. Held in conjunction with The Cavallino Classic, one of the world’s foremost and respected Ferrari concours, the event will also feature nearly 100 Ferraris, many of them rare and one-of-a-kind, each having received a special invitation from the Founder of Cavallino.
With La Bella Macchina gaining in popularity each year, invitations this year are limited to a list of approximately 600 – 700 Jet Aviation clients and sponsor guests. Jet Aviation is the presenting sponsor for the event, and additional sponsors include Gulfstream, Embraer, PNC Aviation, Dassult Falcon, PNC Bank, JetEffect, Pilatus, Epps Aviation, Business Jet Traveler, Airbus Helicopters, Banfi, Perfect Vodka, World Fuel, Phillips 66, Tamara Comolli, The Fur Salon at Saks Fifth Avenue, Iquana Yachts and Universal Weather.
La Bella Macchina serves as a fundraiser for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County including a silent auction and, for the first time, a live auction that will feature three VIP experiences. Live auction items include an exclusive 3-day tennis excursion to Sir Richard Branson’s private Necker Island with some of the most recognizable pros in the world; “an Escape to Another World” with 3-nights luxury accommodations and unlimited golf at the award-winning Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve; and a 2016 Ferrari “Corso Pilota” Driving Experience with expert instruction at Le Circuit Mont-Tremblant Formula one track in Montreal, including 2-nights luxury accommodations at the Hotel Quintessence.
Prior to the event, Jet Aviation will host an aviation career seminar and tour for children who are members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County to educate them about the importance of business aviation and various career opportunities within the industry.
“La Bella Macchina continues to serve as a platform to rally support around the Boys and Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County,” said David Paddock, SVP and General Manager at Jet Aviation. “So while guests are here to view the very latest in high-performance machinery, it’s this community partnership that we are so passionate about. Having the opportunity to share business aviation career opportunities with the members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County is something we’re really proud of – especially as the industry continues to grow.”
