From Krakow to Split? No problem thanks to Eurolot

z-krakowa-do-splituFrom June 15 on you can fly from Kraków to Split. Split is the second, after Dubrovnik, Croatian destination served by Eurolot from Kraków Airport.

The capital of Dalmatia and the second-largest city of Croatia, Split is also a major transportation hub on the Croatian coast. Ferries connect it with a number of domestic and international destinations, including the cities of Rijeka and Dubrovnik, the islands of Brač, Hvar, Vis, Čiovo, Korčula, and Lastovo, as well as the Italian ports of Ancona, Pescara, and Venetia.

Split is an ancient city founded by the Roman Emperor Diocletian. Its many monuments tell the city’s turbulent history. In summer you can enjoy cultural events, e.g. Split Festival or Theatre, Opera, and Ballet Festival.

The city is a gourmet’s paradise. Restaurants offer an excellent range of fish, cheese, and pršut (sun- and wind-dried ham). Feeling like a desert? Try kroštule or Croatian angel wings – a typical Dalmatian sweet pastry.
