Mechtronix to exhibit and speak at the ICAO MPL Symposium

Mechtronix-Logo_1The Mechtronix team will be exhibiting and speaking this week at the ICAO MPL Symposium which is taking place in Montreal, Quebec, from the 10th to the 12th of December. This Symposium will be a great opportunity to learn more about MPL success stories and evaluate the implementation of MPL training programmes.

Mark Dransfield, Vice-president Validation & Qualification at Mechtronix, is among the keynote speakers at the Symposium and will address FSTD design & qualification considerations for MPL Training during day-two of the conference.

Instigated by ICAO, the Multi-crew Pilot License aims at guiding students seamlessly from ab-initio training to airline type rating, using simulation designed for multi-crew training. In response to the demand for new simulation solutions, Mechtronix has invested considerable efforts in the development of fit-for-purpose flight training devices designed specifically for MPL programmes. One example is the FFT X™-MPL, utilized by renowned organisations such as Flight Training Europe (FTE), ST Aerospace Academy (STAA) and Flight Training Adelaide (FTA).

The majority of approved MPL training programs throughout Asia- Pacific, Europe and the Middle-East use Mechtronix flight simulation training devices.
