New Orders From USA Keep Rolling In For SportCruiser

czechCzech Sport Aircraft is pleased to announce the signature of another new purchase agreement for 2 SportCruiser SVAP+ with its U.S. importer, U.S. Sport Aircraft Importing.  The contract was signed this morning and sees Czech Sport Aircraft fast approaching total sales of 30 SportCruiser in the USA alone in 2013.

Speaking after signing the new purchase agreement, Matthew Harvey, Vice President Sales & Marketing, Czech Sport Aircraft, said, “We set ourselves a huge sales target of 30 units for the USA in 2013 and we really are delighted to be so close to achieving this.  We still have some time left!  This incredible performance is definitely testimony to the successful business model we have established in the USA and the hard work and first class aftersales service provided locally by US Sport Aircraft Importing.  However, it has to be said that we see this as only the start.  After launching the first SportCruiser Flight & Distribution Centre in Texas back in July, we have big plans to develop this network and further promote the SportCruiser as the benchmark Light Sport Aircraft for flight training.”

Commenting from the SportCruiser Flight & Distribution Centre in Addison (TX) after placing the new order, Patrick Arnzen, President of U.S. Sport Aircraft Importing, said, “After the recent order at the back end of November, we were confident to close off some additional sales before the end of the year and we are very pleased to confirm this new order.  Our focus is now firmly on 2014.  We hope to have a strong start to the new year and we will be present with the SportCruiser at the U.S. Sport Aviation Expo 2014 at Sebring in January.  It is important to maintain this momentum and US Sport Aircraft Importing is very determined to establish this great aircraft and great brand as the number one reference for Light Sport Aircraft here in the USA.”

The SportCruiser SVAP+ offers dual-screen 10” Dynon Skyview instrumentation together with additional enhanced features.  The new SportCruiser SVAP Light is based on the increased demand from the U.S. market for an entry-level Light Sport Aircraft that combines affordability and advanced features with the flexibility to upgrade.  This version is also the result of an extensive weight reduction exercise carried out by Czech Sport Aircraft engineers, resulting in an increased useful load.  Both new models are equipped in 2013 with Garmin 796 GPS and ADS-B Receiver.  In addition, Czech Sport Aircraft continues to supply the SportCruiser Classic with analogue instrumentation.

With the aim of ensuring quality, general safety and airworthiness of Light Sport Aircraft, the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has introduced more frequent audits of Light Sport Aircraft manufacturers.  Having already conducted several audits of U.S. Light Sport Aircraft manufacturers, the FAA audit of Czech Sport Aircraft took place in March and was the second such audit to take place outside the USA.  The audit focused on all aspects of compliance with FAA accepted Light Sport Aircraft ASTM consensus standards and no safety related issues were found by the FAA inspectors during the Czech Sport Aircraft audit.

The excellent flight characteristics of the aircraft and robust construction of the airframe are perfectly suited to entry-level students and this makes the SportCruiser the ideal platform for training purposes.  The facts on the market today clearly confirm the leadership of the SportCruiser within this important segment of the Light Sport Aircraft market.  As of December 2012, the SportCruiser was being used by almost 20 flight schools in the USA alone.
