Commenting on this new delivery, Matthew Harvey, Co-Managing Director of Aviation Trading, the official authorised trading partner of Czech Sport Aircraft said, “After the first two EASA-certified PS-28 Cruiser entered into service in Switzerland last year, we are delighted to be delivering HB-WXC today and we look forward to expanding our fleet in this important market.  It is very encouraging to see more and more flight schools and air clubs in Europe continuing to select the PS-28 Cruiser in recognition of the overwhelming operational benefits that the aircraft clearly offers.  We thank Groupe de Vol à Moteur de Neuchâtel for the trust they have shown in the PS-28 Cruiser and we look forward to supporting them as the aircraft enters into service.”

HB-WXC is styled with Classic Design paint scheme in the ever popular Czech Sport Aircraft Yellow and Standard Leather upholstery in Slate Grey.  The aircraft is additionally equipped with Stall Warning, Cabin Comfort Package and Sensenich propeller.  HB-WXC enters the Swiss market as a result of the successful cooperation with the company’s local Swiss distributor LightSportAircraft.ch GmbH.

Speaking upon taking delivery of the aircraft, Urs Heim, President of LightSportAircraft.ch GmbH, said, “HB-WXA and HB-WXB are already performing well in a flight training role and the delivery of HB-WXC today is yet further confirmation that the PS-28 Cruiser is slowly establishing itself on the Swiss market.  When also considering former versions of the aircraft delivered to Switzerland in the past, we can say that Czech Sport Aircraft has achieved full coverage of all corners of the country and this is an important point as we build a strong position on the market.  We are ready to provide the highest standards of local customer support to Groupe de Vol à Moteur de Neuchâtel and we look forward to confirming new orders in the near future.”

The PS-38 Tourer is the first step in the evolution of the Czech Sport Aircraft product family based on the market-leading PS-28 Cruiser that has already firmly established itself as the benchmark new-generation aircraft for flight training in Europe.  The aircraft was formally launched by Czech Sport Aircraft at the Aero Friedrichshafen 2014 exhibition.  The PS-38 Tourer is a single engine, all-metal, high-wing monoplane of semi-monocoque structure with two side-by-side seats currently in development.  Czech Sport Aircraft is evaluating type certification of the PS-38 Tourer according to either the CS-VLA or ELA 1 certification regulation in Europe and expects the aircraft to satisfy demand for a new-generation, cost-effective, multi-application high-wing solution for cross-country flying, air tourism and law enforcement operations.
