Prague Airport and Krakowice Airport awarded at Routes Europe 2014
Routes Europe is the largest regional gathering for all aviation based companies who wish to conduct business to, from and within the European region, bringing together a wide range of airlines, airports and tourism.
Kraków Airport has been awarded at Routes Europe 2014 conference in Marseille, receiving the second award in the “Airports under 4 million passengers” category for its effective marketing operations that help enhance the route development, and for co-operating with airlines.
Prague Airport achieved a significant acknowledgement of “Highly Commended Airport” in the prestigious Routes Europe Marketing Awards 2014 opinion poll. Along with the airport in Athens it was rated as the second best in its category. Individual airports are assessed by the representatives of the airlines themselves who evaluate the approach to building of mutual relationships, provision of data and information, and marketing support. Prague Airport has fought its way into the top 5 in its category in this opinion poll for three consecutive years now.
The Routes Awards are highly regarded as the most prestigious awards in the industry as they are voted for and judged by the airline network planning community.
They provide the airline community with the chance to have their say as to which airport or destination they think provide the best overall marketing activities to them. Whether it is about the nature of their relationship, effective results, provision of data and information or innovative techniques to establish new or maintain and develop existing routes.
