Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport welcomed 232.061 passengers in February which represents an unprecedented increase by 34 percent over the same month last year. The number of take-offs and landings totaled 3.696, an increase of 35 percent with 28 percent more cargo traffic than in February 2013.
The growth of traffic volume and number of passengers currently is unrivaled in comparison to all major international airports at the European continent.
These results enable the Airport management to implement the long-term development strategy as well as to completely self-finance all planned investment projects.
The growth has largely been achieved due to the expansion of business and operations of the new national carrier Air Serbia.
