Strong increase in Sapphire Pegasus Award nominations

The Sapphire Pegasus Award recognizes and honors outstanding performances by companies and individuals in Business Aviation. In total 115 nominations were received at March 13 deadline which represents an increase 32% over last year. Most of nominations were for companies; several were for individual professionals. The Board of Advisors is now reviewing the nominations. The eight judges are industry experts and journalists who will have the final word on the election of the award winners. The Sapphire Pegasus Awards will be presented to the winners during a Gala Ceremony in Prague on April 28.

“I am pleased about this year’s high turnout. The significant increase in nominations clearly indicates that the Award has earned its respect and value in the industry,” says Antonia Lukacinova, CEO of Media Tribune, the company behind the award conception and organization. “There is a wide geographic spread for the nominations. Of the twelve different award categories, ‘FBO & Service Providers’ and ‘Innovations’ were the highest in demand.”

The selection process by the Board of Advisors consisting of eight judges who are independently making their decision, guarantees high objectivity and integrity. It aims to make it indisputable that the most exceptional performers will be honored. The Award is also a symbol of gratitude for the superb performance in an industry where mediocrity is unacceptable. The Award has been accepted as an asset of its own kind in the industry and already finds worldwide attention. The professional business aviation organizations EBAA, CEPA, RUBAA, BACA, and AFBAA are supporting partners of the event.

The Sapphire Pegasus Award is created out of the worldwide unrivalled Bohemian crystal by the glass masters of Moser Glassworks. Moser provides a unique aesthetic experience through works of
crystal that have timeless artistic value associated with a high utility value. The Award winners will be announced and honored during the Sapphire Pegasus Gala Dinner on April 28 at the Boscolo Luxury Hotel in Prague. This magnificent and glamorous event will be an evening when the professionals of Business Aviation Industry gather to network, enjoy exclusive dining, witness the presentation, and celebrate the Award winners in the magnificent setting of a once Neo-Renaissance palace.
