TAG Engineering Le Bourget joins Bombardier’s Authorized Service Facility network

tag_logo_hTAG Engineering Le Bourget, TAG Aviation’s maintenance centre at Paris-Le Bourget Airport in Paris, France, has joined Bombardier’s Authorized Service Facility (ASF) network as an authorized Line Maintenance Facility for Bombardier business jets.  It is the only Bombardier ASF at Le Bourget.

Eight Bombardier licensed technicians are based at the centre, which is able to provide line- and base-level maintenance services for Learjet 60, Learjet 60 XR, Challenger 300, Challenger 605, Global Express, Global Express XRS and Global 5000 aircraft, as well as Global 5000 and Global 6000 equipped with the Bombardier Vision flight deck.

“We can now offer customers comprehensive maintenance services for Bombardier business aircraft at one of the busiest and most important business aviation airports in Europe,” said Franck Madignier, President, TAG Aviation Engineering and FBO Services.  “This new capability also strengthens our wider network of maintenance centres with dedicated facilities for Bombardier customers in three of Europe’s leading business centres – Paris, Geneva and London.”

TAG Engineering Le Bourget features 1,800 m² of hangar space and offers maintenance services including airframe inspections, avionics, customer service, logistics, ramp services and troubleshooting.  In addition to providing base- and line-maintenance for Bombardier* aircraft, line-maintenance is also available for a range of other business aircraft.

TAG Aviation also has two heavy maintenance centres in Geneva (Switzerland) and Farnborough (United Kingdom), which have been Bombardier ASFs since 1986 and 2006 respectively.  Both centres offer four core services: airframes, avionics, troubleshooting and ramp services.

TAG Aviation has other maintenance centres in Madrid (Spain), Lomé (Togo) and a recently opened facility at Sion Airport (Switzerland).  Its maintenance centre network includes ten specialist workshops, offering services such as paintshop, interior refurbishment and logistics.  In total, the company has certification to work on over sixty types of aircraft.
