The Registry of Aruba welcomes Crystal Luxury Air
The Registry of Aruba has entered an agreement to work with Crystal Cruises, the world’s most awarded luxury cruise line, to develop an Aruban AOC for Crystal’s expanded brand extension Crystal Luxury Air. Global luxury will soar to new heights with Crystal Luxury Air, featuring a B777-200LR Boeing Business Jet and a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.
The twin-aisle Boeing 777-200LR and Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, which typically seats up to 400 and 300 passengers, respectively, will be redesigned to accommodate just 88 and 52 guests, respectively, with flat-bed first class seats and beautifully appointed lounges and bars. The planes will boast the premium luxury that discerning global travelers have come to expect from Crystal, including copious amounts of guest space, plush amenities and Crystal’s world-class service and crew. Trips will range from 14 to 28-day around the world itineraries, and include accommodations at the world’s most luxurious hotels, the finest Michelin star-level cuisine prepared by celebrated chefs and fabulous local cultural entertainment. Additionally, the aircrafts can be arranged for special charters.
Established in 1995, the Registry of Aruba was the first privately managed aircraft registration program rated Category-1 by the FAA, which has regulatory framework in compliance with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards.

The Registry of Aruba is available to private, corporate, & commercial operators with aircraft with a minimum MTOW (Maximum Takeoff Weight) of 5,700 kgs. & turbine helicopters with a minimum MTOW of 1,000 kgs. Aircraft with a MTOW below 5,700 kgs. can also be registered in Aruba under special DCA (Department of Civil Aviation) approval depending on the type & area of operation.
In Aruba qualified foreign legal-corporate entities, including U.S. Trustees can keep their existing company structure by electing Domicile & appointing a qualified local representative when registering their aircraft. Registration under the domicile regime does not create a taxable presence in Aruba, & the representative acts only as a local agent.
