Ventum Air Flight Academy In Poland Orders New PS-28 Cruiser
Czech Sport Aircraft announced a new order from Poland for the PS-28 Cruiser. Aviation Trading, the official authorised trading partner of Czech Sport Aircraft, entered into a purchase agreement with its local distributor GB Aircraft Sp. z o.o. at the end of last year and this will result in the third PS-28 Cruiser Classic entering into service with Ventum Air Flight Academy where it will be used in support of their internationally recognised PPL training programme.
Speaking about the new order, Matthew Harvey, Managing Director of Aviation Trading, the official authorised trading partner of Czech Sport Aircraft said, “We are delighted that Ventum Air has taken the decision to expand their fleet and has shown the confidence to focus on the PS-28 Cruiser for their PPL training programme. SP-GBC and SP-GBD were delivered last year and have already amassed a significant amount of flight hours. Good local support for the aircraft is very important and we stand by GB Aircraft and their maintenance partners in ensuring Ventum Air have the necessary assistance in support of their flight training operations. The PS-28 Cruiser is slowly establishing itself on the Polish training market and we look forward to more success in the year ahead on the back of this new order.”
Commenting on the PS-28 Cruiser and their decision to expand the fleet, Marcin Piechota, Chief Executive Officer of Ventum Air Flight Academy, said, “After accumulating over 700 flight hours across both SP-GBC and SP-GBD we certainly have the experience and confidence to say that we are very impressed with the performance of the PS-28 Cruiser in a flight training role. We were looking for a cost-effective, easy to maintain and reliable aircraft that could be the workhorse of our PPL training programme and also offer the ramp appeal and modern, fresh look to attract the new generation of student pilot. The PS-28 Cruiser gives us all that and more. For this reason we have taken the decision to move forward with the purchase of the third aircraft, which will again be a Classic configured with analogue instrumentation.”
GB Aircraft is based in Warsaw and is the sole distributor of the PS-28 Cruiser and associated spare parts on the Polish market. Through their strategic partnership with Aviation Service Sp. z o.o., GB Aircraft also offers Part M/G CAMO and Part 145 Maintenance Organisation as well as certified Rotax maintenance.
Rafał Karski, President of the Management Board of GB Aircraft, said, “We have been working towards this new order for some time. Ventum Air has always praised the aircraft and the two currently in service have been used extensively with great feedback from both the operator and the students. It was simply a matter of time before the third aircraft would join their ranks. It is quite obvious that the general fleet of training aircraft here in Poland needs to be rejuvenated with a modern alternative like the PS-28 Cruiser.
