VistaJet Receives Its First EBAA Diamond Safety of Flight Award
VistaJet announced it has been honoured at the European Business Aviation Association’s Safety of Flight Awards, where it was awarded EBAA’s Diamond Safety of Flight Award. VistaJet is the first operator ever to receive the accolade, which is given to companies that surpass 50 years, or 100,000 hours, of flying without an accident.
The company was recognised during a ceremony at the 2016 European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition in Geneva, Switzerland.
The achievement highlights the business’ continued commitment to safety, and to putting the security and wellbeing of its customers and staff above all else. Ever since it was launched in 2004, VistaJet has placed the utmost scrutiny on operational and flight safety, in which it has continued to invest since moving its headquarters to Malta, where it provides world-class training for all of its 400+ crew members and operational staff.
Since it was founded, VistaJet has actually achieved over 200,000 hours of safe operations, having flown over 210,000 passengers on more than 80,000 flights to destinations worldwide.
