Zodiac Aerospace Group Renews M. Olivier Zarrouati’s Mandate As Chairman Of The Management Board
The Supervisory board of the Zodiac Aerospace Group met on October 13th, 2015 and decided to renew the mandate of M. Olivier Zarrouati as Chairman of the Management board for a four years term.
The Supervisory board renews his trust to the Management board of the Group, to its management, and to its employees. The board also wanted to reaffirm his confidence in the strategy of the Group and in particular in the perspectives of the seats activity, which are supported by an effective business model, the quality of its products, and an implication of his employees. For his new mandate, Olivier Zarrouati received for missions to pursue the recovery of the seats activity, to drive the transformation of the Group in particular with the implementation of its new organization and the deployment of the Focus plan, and to pursue the development of Zodiac Aerospace.
Concerning the seats activity, the Supervisory board regretted the request of American Airlines, consecutive to the sliding of its business class program, to cancel part of its order. The discussions with this customer continue under a non-disclosure agreement. Except this airline, the total of the delays, comparable to that of the end of August, resumed its decrease.
Zodiac Seats has strengthened its management teams in the United States, and pursues its plan of industrial transformation to improve its performances of delivery to its customers. The Supervisory board noted that the new organization of the Group, effective since September 1st, began to work tirelessly, in a narrow and structured way, and resolutely committed to the transformation of the operations of the group.
